Maciej is a skilled cabinet maker whose work blends precision with intuition — always found at the bench or fine-tuning our machinery with quiet focus. With a background in traditional joinery, he brings decades of hands-on experience to the workshop floor.
Originally trained in Poland through vocational education in carpentry, Maciej later ran his own woodshop in Swindon before settling in Scotland. He joined Studio Carpentry in 2017, and has since become an integral part of our team — shaping components, operating our high-spec equipment, and ensuring each piece meets our shared standard of craft and clarity.
His deep understanding of materials and processes makes him a vital part of our making team — someone who understands not just how things are made, but how they should feel.
Outside the studio, Maciej is most at home in nature. Whether it’s a weekend at the loch, time by the river, or walking his German shepherd along the coast, he finds balance in the outdoors and calm in craft.
