Set within a bright and airy open-plan home in Edinburgh, this bespoke kitchen was designed to feel warm, elegant, and effortlessly functional. The kitchen flows seamlessly into the adjacent living and dining areas, encouraging connection and shared moments. A combination of traditional design detailing and contemporary layout allows the space to feel timeless yet practical for everyday use.

The cabinetry is constructed with lacquered tulipwood face frames and oak-veneered MDF units, offering both durability and refinement. Doors were finished with hand-painted PU topcoats for a smooth, tactile finish, while moisture-resistant MDF ensures longevity. Solid oak dovetailed drawers glide on soft-close runners, and thoughtful details—such as concealed LED lighting and hidden spice storage—complete the space. Every element is designed to enhance the experience of cooking, living, and gathering.
